Fatt Mattz is a start-up company based in a little country town between Canberra and the South Coast called Bungendore (where I live), he makes the Jerky there and sources the majority of his meat locally, the Metal Stands that the product is displayed in is also made in town by Sam from Bungendore Engineering https://www.bungendoreengineering.com/

 

Fatt Matz BackStory

Back in 2003, whilst working at the Uni bar for drinking money, I discovered beef jerky. On the tips jar I made an amendment that read "Tips for Jerky Money" to feed my habit. Was the available jerky brand amazing? No, and far from it. So what did I do? Create my own.

 

Born from a desire for a high quality product that just didn't exist, I sourced a dehydrator and got to work. The results were impressive and a passion was born. Fast forward 16 years and the time came to leave the corporate life for a passion project, Fatt Mattz was born.

 

At Fatt Mattz, we think premium quality food should be available to everyone at prices that don’t cost an arm and a leg.
